Ubuntu client version

Upgrading to Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS or Ubuntu 20.10 will result in endpoint protection being disabled

when will this be looked at by sophos or is there a client update to be released soon?

Hello Vijay Harsiani,

20.04 LTS ships with kernel 5.4 which is not yet supported by Talpa. SAV should nevertheless attempt to compile Talpa and on my system (I'm using the on-premise SAV 9.16.2 though I don't think SAV 10 behaves differently) it compiles without problems.
If it doesn't compile you could try fanotify instead.

As to when - I can't say.
