Hello guys, I am kinda new to these forums, and I do not know sh..t about viruses and stuff. I am only an engineer and a paintball maniac. A friend of mine suggested SOPHOS after my laptop got hit by some sort of nasty virus. The virus was removed thanks to Sophos but: The speed of the laptop has significantly dropped I do not know how to stop Sophos from blocking some of the websites My website's speed has dropped by a mile and I can even edit anything on WordPress because the Grammarly extension is crashing regularly which forces me to restart the whole editing process from the beginning. It all happened after installing Sophos. I do not if this is Sophos' fault. I have checked the images, extra CSS, serves response time, and core web vitals. Everything is optimized as far as web speed is concerned. You guys can check my website too, maybe there is something wrong with it but I do not understand why my laptop is slow. Look, guys, I do not know if it is Sophos's fault but I need your help to resolve this issue. I am using the latest version and I am using MAC.

Laptop getting slower by the day after installing the Sophos antivirus

Hi,

this is the XG forum. But never mind I have the Sophos installed on my mac mini and my wife's MBP and have not noticed any real slow down. You can fine tune you Sophos anti- whatever settings to block, warn or allow various features from your Sophos home management console.

Thanks. My problem has been resolved. I contacted a friend of mine. He is also a member sophos community forum. He helped to rectify the problem.
