Sophos Central - Endpoint Scan History

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a place in Sophos Central where you can see the endpoint scan history.

The scan is schedlued to run every day on the S.Central side but on the Endpoint side, it says that the last scanned does not match the scan schedule.

Is that because the "last scan date" on Endpoint is not the scheduled scan time but the manual scan?

Any input much appreciated!

  • Hi ,

For your first question "I was wondering if there is a place in Sophos Central where you can see the endpoint scan history"
The answer for this is "No" we don't have such options on our central dashboard for this.

A scheduled scan configured in Sophos Central will start based on the local time of the device. If you specify for a scan to start at 6 pm in Sophos Central, the scan will start at 6 pm PST, EST, and so forth depending on where your device is located.

  • You could use Logs and Reports > Events and filter the logs for Protection Issues to see if scans are completing.  The scheduled scan creates a Windows scheduled task and will run for the local time of the endpoint. For example if you have a scheduled scan set to run at 5 pm, a computer in New York will run at 5 PM EST while a computer in San Francisco will run at 5 PM PST.
