Auto-Update von 9.210 auf 9.304 verfügbar?

Hallo Forengemeinde!

Wenn ich alles richtig verfolgt habe, gibt es doch seit Mitte Dezember die V9.304, auf die man auch direkt von der V9.210 updaten kann, korrekt?

Müsste dieses Update nicht auch schon automatisch in der Up2Date-Funktion der Appliance angeboten werden? 

Das ist bei mir (SG-330) nämlich NICHT der Fall, weswegen ich hier gerne erfragen würde, ob das seine Richtigkeit hat und ich noch etwas warten muss oder ob da bei mir was schief läuft.

    Hallo TJ,
    das liegt daran, dass hier die entsprechenden Update Schritte seitens Sophos eingehalten werden.


    • Closed Alpha (Sophos Lab)
    • Public Beta (Download and informations at the Sophos User Bulletin Board)
    • Soft-Release (Download via official Sophos FTP server) ****
    • General Availability Release (official announcement, version could be changed with keeping the version number of the patch/file)
    • Staged-Release (Devices are downloading the update file automatically; global rollout)

    Beim Ausrollen werden erst die kleinen Systeme versorgt und dann die größeren.

    Das ist der Grund, warum das Update noch nicht via Up2Date verteilt wird.

    Der zeitl. Ablauf war/ist mir (im Groben) bekannt, ich hatte nur gemeint, dass bereits alle Stufen durchlaufen sein müssten.

    Wenn ich Dich korrekt verstehe, ist das schlicht (doch) noch nicht der Fall, und es hat seine Richtigkeit, dass meine Box bislang nichts anzeigt?

    Hallo!

    Ich müsste meine Frage bitte noch mal nach oben schieben...

    Nach wie vor wird bei mir die 9.210 als aktuell Firmware angezeigt, das Update auf 9.304 wird mir über die Auto-Up2Date-Funktion nicht angeboten, was mir zunehmend "spanisch" vorkommt.

    Kann bitte jemand bestätigen, dass das so - nach wie vor - seine Richtigkeit hat oder aber davon berichten, das bei ihr oder ihm die 9.304 via Auto-Up2Date angeboten wird?

    I have a newly deployed sg210 that is not updating beyond 9.210 either.  we will see what happen when 9.306.

    Ich meine die 9.210 ist fehlerhaft und zieht keine Updates.
    Egal ob SG oder UTM.

    Hier hilft nur up2date manuell einspielen.

    9.2 is fine.  9.3x right now unless your firewall updates on its own..i would wait.

    Meine 9.210 hat die Updates angezeigt aber nicht eingespielt... 

    Einfach per ftp die passenden Updates runterladen und selbst einspielen...

    ftp://ftp.astaro.com/pub/UTM/v9/up2date/

    u2d-sys-9.210020-304009.tgz.gpg

    und dann noch auf 305 gehen: 

    u2d-sys-9.304009-305004.tgz.gpg

    Sollte doch kein Problem darstellen....

    Ja bzw. nein.
    Updates via Up2Date sind GA und werden ausgerollt.
    Können aber immer verändert werden und kleine UTMs/SGs starten mit Laden der Pakete via Up2Date.
    Also bei Updates ruhig etwas Geduld haben. Um mal nicht durch die Blume zu sprechen, erst kleine Umgebungen testen und ggf. Fehler finden lassen [;)]

    How to update your UTM
    There are two ways you can update your UTM to the latest release:

    Automatically:  All customer UTMs will see the 9.3 update appear automatically in their UTM over the next few weeks.  You can simply wait for the update to become available in your WebAdmin console and apply it at that time.

    Manually:  You can download the required 9.3 Up2Date packages needed to transition from your current version (from the link below) and apply them manually via WebAdmin by navigating to Management >> Up2Date >> Advanced
