How to troubleshoot Synchronized User ID Issues

Hi, 
 
 we want to use SynchronizedUser ID Auth, but we are stuck, the users are not being created on the Firewall. Is there an advice for troubleshooting? How to proceed? How can I get an idea, where the root cause could be?

That is generally not completely correct. I need to adjust this. That was the reason, why i am asking for failed logins in Auth Logviewer. 
 If you Domain differs, you need to setup the second AD Server with the second domain as well: Sophos Firewall: Create multiple AD Server entities in SFOS for multi domains
