Revision 3 appliances used a Via C7 processor -- limit of 1GB of RAM. Rev. 4 (I guess what the other poster is referring to as "C" -- he should look at the bottom of the appliance for the Revision Number) introduced the Atom platform, and its limit is 2GB.
