[7.500][BUG][CONFIRMED] Webadmin Login fails

Hi all,
I just upgraded to V7.5 GA but I found an error/bug. I did the following:
- Imported the ESX V7.400 VM in vSphere
- Upgraded the from up2dates 7.401, 7.402, 7.403, 7.404, 7.405 and as last to 7.500
- When I log in WebAdmin, I get the following error:
  "Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at /PerlApp/core/modules/core_feed.pm line 45."
- I don't have a "display"
- Now I restore the config-file from V7.490, waited a few minutes and the error is now gone...

So eventually it works fine...

    Had the same message after the update. I think this is only a browser cache issue and therefore no real bug.

    Same problem here, but I couldn't resolv it, even a factory reset didn't do it ... going back to 7.405 ...

    Hi,

    I get this error if there is no connection to the internet. Looks like the new "marketing rss feed" causes this bug. 

    It's not even possible to disable the RSS feature using "Management/WebAdmin Settings/User pref". 

    The machine wants to phone home :-(

    Hi all,

    same problem after upgrading from 7.405 to 7.500. My Internet connection was down also, when and after upgrading process.

    I had the same error today show up when my cable internet went down.
    The External DCHP interface didn't have an IP address and it seemed like this was related to the entire Dashboard not loading up.

    The internet was down for about 8hrs, and during that entire time, I could never get the dashboard to open up.  I would have to click "OK" on two separate pop-up windows that displayed the same thing:  

    "Information:
    Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at /PerlApp/core/modules/core_feed.pm line 45."

    The error message went away and the Dashboard was once again accessible once the internet came back online.  Kind of a strange issue.

    I too am having this issue, but my internet is up and running fine.

    I have this error too. At first I thought I had to reinstall and go back to 7.405 (is there another way besides reinstalling anyway?). Then I rebootet twice and after the second reboot the error appeared again but went away after a couple of minutes (about 5-10). Before I waited like 30 Minutes and it didn't go away.
    During that time I had no internet connection at all. When the error was gone everything worked fine. Internet was back up. Right now I'm afraid of rebooting again!
