Registration Issue

I recently ran into an issue with registering a new AP 55.  I did not have the correct ports open on my UTM, and thus registration would fail.  After multiple attempts, I realized my issue and opened the correct ports.  When I proceeded to register the device, it hung on the registration screen and never showed a successful registration.  After approximately 15 minutes, I tried to close out of the registration.  I think that it said that I could not do it, and then took me back and showed that the access point was online.  Anyone else seen this kind of behavior?

    can you remember if the registration screen showed multiple access point entries?

    Above the one that had the issue?

  • When I was setting up this particular access point, it was the only access point that I was trying to register.  It did not show it multiple times, but after the first time it failed, I had the retry button on the right.  Does that answer your question?

    Also, today I deployed 4 more access points.  This one was a multiple registration, and when I clicked retry on the failed access point, I got the attached screenshot.

    The bottom access point that is registering (the one without the serial number) is from when I clicked retry on the top failed one.
