Hi,
I have deployed Sophos XG at home on an old Dell i5 box I had laying around and have it connected in my network as per below.
If I remove Sophos from the Network, my Home LAN devices are all able to obtain IP Addresses just fine. I have tried to add both a DHCP Server and DHCP Relay but cant seem to get it to work. I have tried to use the same Subnet and it still doesnt work. I've also added rules to allow Any from WAN -> LAN and LAN-> WAN.
What am I missing ?
Thanks in advance, Peter
Hi,
Please check if MASQ is applied in the Firewall Rule for LAN-Any-WAN.
Thanks

Hi sachingurung,
Yes I have MASQ on as per below;
The Interface Configuration for my LAN Port does not show an IPV4 Gateway address, nor am I able to access the Internet as mentioned. I am at a loss :(
Thanks,
Peter
Hi,
I see NAT=Gateway specific NAT, edit that and selected MASQ in "Use Outbound Address" option.
What is the IP address defined for XG? Please post an output of "ipconfig /all" for a LAN system. The LAN interface will not show a gateway address as XG is a default gateway.
Thanks

Hi Sachin,
I have tried both of the below changes but still cannot get an IP address on my wireless router.
I had also thought to include a DHCP Relay back to my cable modem as per below;
and I still have no luck. ?? :(
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Sachin,
It is now working ! Thank You.
The only issue I have now is that it is showing my Gateway is down, even though it is up. :(
Cheers,
Peter
