Hi,
After configuring standard/unified mode for a branch RED Device, I am unable to connect to the branch internet router from any branch PC. The traffic is being routed through sophos firewall. I added a route in the branch PC like below but still the same.
route add branch_router_ip mask 255.255.255.255 branch_red_device_ip
route add 192.168.8.1 mask 255.255.255.255 192.168.8.10
The RED Device IP taken from Firewall DHCP is 192.168.8.10.
Secondly, how can I access the branch internet router LAN Interface from the Head Office Network?
Thanks.
That is how RED works.
The situation here is: RED can only do two modes: Standard / Unified --> Everything to the Firewall, Standard / Split --> Everything except Internet Traffic (Unprotected).

That means there is no way to access the router from both the branch and the head office except by changing the mode to split.
Or by assigning a static IP to a branch PC having the same subnet as the router.
That's correct. Everything behind RED = bad and unprotected network ;-)
