Hello Everyone,
Please, we are experiencing an issue where users can successfully log into their local machines using Active Directory (AD) credentials, but the same credentials fail when accessing the Captive Portal.
The firewall has been integrated with the Domain Controller, and the integration tests were successful, and the relevant Organizational Units (OUs) have been imported.
Please, has anyone encountered a similar issue or have insights into potential solutions?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Hi Semiu. Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos community team. Can you please share the error snapshot and log viewer logs error for "Authenticatio" events for 1-2 reference users? Also, please review the domain settings defined under AD integration with the failed events in the log viewer logs of the same users to confirm no domain-related typo error or misconfiguration!

Thank you for your response. Vishal.
The error message displayed is "Login failed." Upon reviewing the log viewer, it appears that the error was caused by incorrect credentials. However, the same credentials were successfully used to log into the system locally.
The domain settings defined were correct.
Hi Semiu. Thanks for the update. If you are sure the configuration looks fine and has no issues with the current configuration, I recommend submitting a support case to further investigate the reported situation. This will allow for a thorough review of the cause and help determine the necessary steps to resolve the matter.
Regards,

Hello Semiu,
Thank you for sharing the information, we found that the DN query was not added properly. We corrected it and managed to login to the captive portal via AD user.
