Harddisk Problems with different models

Hey guys,

we have trouble with several models (f.e. XGS 3300 and XGS 4500) and the Harddisks.

Mostly when i upgrade the clusters the problem comes in front. When the devices are running we expect the logging/reports is not working, firewalling and vpn works well.

When i'm trying to connect with SSH, the connection will be rejected.

On the XGS 4500 with software RAID i can check the state with "mdadm -D /dev/md0", but how to do that with XGS 3300?

Hope someone can help me and maybe there is a form where i can initiate a RMA for this affected models (without the whole RMA process with logs.......).

Our partner manager admit there are problems with different models/parts.

  • Hi xg-andy,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

Have you tried to use any how-to videos, documentation, Sophos Assistant, or KBA to try to check the issue? What firmware version are you using?

To verify, upon update, your logging/reports aren’t working, and you can't troubleshoot due to being rejected on SSH.

I would best recommend creating a case for Sophos Support, and kindly share the case number here.
