Hello,
I'm new to the Sophos Intercept X for Mobile. I'm configuring the policies for iOS and came across "SMS Filtering". It asked to add a domain - I'm ensure if this is the domain that should be whitelisted, or blocked? And how are SMS messages received on iOS being monitored/scanned by Intercept X?
Thank you for reaching out to the community forum.
For more details about SMS Filtering, you may refer to this Documentation.
The concept is that it will block all those fake domains, and whenever you receive an SMS/MMS with a link using a fake domain, it will directly put it in your Junk SMS or Junk MMS.
Thanks Glenn. So I take that if the SMS has no links whatsoever, then the filtering will not be triggered?
A user received an SMS text message impersonating the director, where the message has no links and came from an unknown number. So I assume this will not be filtered then?
Hello haruko1379,

Subdomains like hr.sophos.com aren’t filtered.
If an SMS message is filtered, all further messages from the same sender are filtered as well.
