We use sophos central mobile and want to assign a password to a device. We have already created a compliance policy for this. but if we now want to reset the password of the device, this task always remains on delayed. unfortunately, a restart of the tablet is also not possible. What can be done?

May we know what OS the device in question or the behavior is being observed? is this happening on a specific device or all of your manage device?
