Unable to update the manager machine

Hi Team,

Please help me to resolve this issue. I'm unable to download the threat detection from manager console.

Hi Rakesh Vasavan

The error message states "the access to the source update location is denied or the location is unavailable":

1. Did you recently make any changes to the machine or the network path?

2. Can you ping in between the Sophos Update Manager and the Endpoint?

Hello Rakesh Vasavan,

what does the Logviewer show? The article might or might not help to resolve the error. In the latter case please check the SUMTrace logs in %ProgramData%\Sophos\Update Manager\Logs\. Search for a line containing <Info> License state is initialised to: and proceed downwards from there.

Guys,

I am so sorry, there was some services is not running properly. I have restarted the services and its running fine now.

Services - Windows Installer, Task Scheduler and Remote Registry....

Since I am facing a new issue with the LINUX clients.. with error code mention below.

Hello Rakesh Vasavan,

please start new threads for new or different issues.
Anyway, if it has updated without problems before the error might be transient and get cleared with the next successful update.
