If I read the article well, you need to have two public ip addresses configured for Exchange? One for autodiscover and one for the webservices? At the moment we have webmail and autodiscover going to the same public ip.
Isn't not possible to activate two virtual servers on the same interface so I guess this is the only option, but I just want to verify this [:)]
no you have 1 WAN IP address [:)] just point autodiscover. and owa. to that public and fixed IP address. It is possible to activate multiple virtual servers! The hostname decides the virtual server access.
Nemo- I have a similar problem but I think I'm confused on the virtual web server / path setup. Let's say I have 2 internal web servers I wanna access from the outside world.
So: UTM ip: dynamic (my domain name points at this IP) UTM internal: 100.0.0.1 Internal web server 1: 100.0.0.2 Internal web server 2: 100.0.0.3
Assuming that your domain is sloan.fam and that web1.sloan.fam and web2.sloan.fam both resolve to "UTM IP" in public DNS. Configure a Real Server for "Internal web server 1" and use it in a Virtual Server for the web1.sloan.fam FQDN. Similarly for the other server and FQDN.
