Hi all,
I have a 105w and I want to bridge a physical port and a wireless network, they should get IP from a DHCP internal server.
So here are my questions about it:
1. When I create the bridge port, both ports have to be in the same zone?
2. No matter how I set it, I can't see the bridge port bind to any zone. And I think that's why I can't access internet from my LAN. Could this be the reason why my firewall rules not working?
Am I missing something else? Let me know! Any advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi and thank you for your replay.
Let me see if I understand...
1. I just have to set the "Client Traffic" option in the wireless network settings to "Bridge to AP LAN"?
2. It's not necessary to create the bridge port?
3. What about the DHCP realy?
I just want to understand this, as you can see I'm new to Sophos.
Thanks.
1. Correct
2. Dhcp is used when you want to relay the dhcp feature to an external dhcp server, so dhcp requests are forwarded from dhcp to the external dhcp server. This is not an exclusive Sophos feature but it is a standard.
Regards
I set the wireless configuration to "Bridge to AP LAN" but it didn't work.
No matter what I try I can't get DHCP from my internal server.
EDIT: In Wireless > Access points >Wireless networks.
1. Should I add LAN physical interface?
2. Should I change the zone from "Wifi" to "LAN" from the wireless network configuration?
Thanks.
Thanks to everyone who try to help me solving this, I did it following this guide:

John, make sure you post the correct link. The one above is broken.
Thanks
