Installes Software-Appliance-Image in old XG105 no ping to 172.16.16.16 and no DHCP

If you install the software Image, it could be a different port setting than expected. 

Use the console to verify the ports: ethtool eth0 / eth1 / eth2 etc. 

Check which Port is currently connect and go one by one to see, if the order is mixed up. 

I did it because this is the behaviour of the SG. But without success. 

LED on LAN1 is on.

Is that the wan port or lan port? You should have two ports active, what does the console show when both ports have cables connected?

Okay. I found it. LAN1=Port4 WAN=Port1

I think there was a script for reorganize the Ports on SG... Is there any for the XG?

No there is no such script to do this. As of now, you need to live to work with this kind of order.
