Hello raja,
Thank you for reaching out to the community, you can check the following things below:
> Login in to the putty via admin credentials and press 4 for the device console:
1.) type the following command: console> system diagnostics utilities bandwidth-monitor
and then press 'u' twice if you see the errors/sec on that Interface Port1 try changing the negotiation from the network > interface > advance settings and see if that errors becomes zero on the bandwidth monitor.
2.) Now from the advance shell: press 5 for the device management and then press 3 for the advance shell
type the following command to test the interface: #ethtool -t Port1 [UPDATE] NOTE: ethtool does not work on XGS devices
interface might fluctuate for few seconds but that you'll have the results in front of you if the test failed or pass.
Other than this 2 options mentioned try changing the cable and Port on the peer appliance [switch it connects to]
Thanks & Regards,

Errors are increasing on the RX side constantly. the Port1 must be connected to the switch right? Can you try changing the port on the switch alogn with the cable !
Thanks & Regards,

How about swapping a a laptop instead of switch, connect a direct laptop on the Port1 and see what is the observation:
ifconfig Port1 see if the RX state errors are still increasing ?
Thanks & Regards,

thanks for your quick response and help, we have checked directly connected with laptop, and i can see the same log, no change Speed:100Mb/s Full Duplex Auto Negotiation:yes
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST
RX State: packets:170059172 bytes:41210331928 (38.3 GiB)
errors:1063 dropped:58854 overruns:0 frame:0
TX State: packets:206905157 bytes:248317253612 (231.2 GiB)
errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
But raja the improvement here is the errors are not increasing after connecting to the laptop. errors:1063
You can fire the command again and again and the errors should not increase.
That also concludes the issue is with the switch !!
Thanks & Regards,
