Thanks for your comment. So does this mean the PDF version of these docs will no longer be available starting from XG v19 ?

I would like to know too. Requiring users to have internet access to set up a firewall that needs internet access for the manuals in order to install it seems like a paradox.

What do you looking for? PDF versions are available for version updates, not the manual. Manual is always online available. There are quick start guides in the internet: www.sophos.com/.../sophos-xg-firewall

Now that v19 has been released, I still can not yet find the pdf versions of its guides for offline storage and usage

I talked to the Team in charge of this and they mentioned the following:

We are currently moving away from providing PDFs, starting with version 19, as we’d like to ensure our customers always have the latest information. As content can be updated weekly, PDFs can easily become outdated, and we run into an issue of customers not having the correct information matching any changes in the product of the same version. An online page ensures that customers are always accessing the most up-to-date content. However, we are looking for an alternative solution, for the future, that will enable our customers to create PDFs when visiting the online help pages.
