Sophos Mobile Control installed via Apple Configurator

Hello Everyone,

Our company recently switched over to Sophos Mobile Control for our iPhones and iPads, we currently setup devices using an Apple MacBook Air using the Apple Configurator 2. We have  a "blue print" we push out to each device and it loads our personal profile and pushes out Sophos Mobile Control on to the device.

This works well, but what I noticed is that when the App is pushed out/installed Via Apple Configurator 2 and we block Apple Store from the Configurator 2, we cannot update the Sophos Mobile Control App. I have tried pushing out the Sophos App to the devices and the Task shows it completes, but still shows old version installed.

My question is, does anyone know how to push out the update to the Sophos Mobile Control App via the web console with my current configuration? Or am I doomed to have old versions of Sophos Mobile Control roaming the earth?

Thank you!

The best way for this to work properly, is for you to either temporarily unblock the Apple app store and allow the devices to update the app through the app store. Alternately you can raise a support case and check with the software developers and see if the .ipa is available.
