Sophos Endpoint services missing

Hello Everyone,

I've downloaded the Sophos Endpoint client and it installed without any error but as i try to scan a file there are no choices to scan that specific file with sophos so it turned out that the

Hi Gabriel,

Where did you download the installation package from? In the meantime, create a new installation package, uninstall the existing client and reinstall the client with the new package.

Hello Haridoss,

I've downloaded the client from the sophos central cloud management, frankly i've already done that part and this is my 3rd time installing the Anti-Virus.

Do you have any of the following applications installed on your machine?

1. System Monitoring Software

2. Anti Virus

3. Any software that controls your system performance.

None of the following i uninstalled our previous anti-virus successfully and still receiving this error.

All of those services belong to the AV component. This would suggest, Sophos Anti-Virus has failed to install.

Under \windows\temp\ if you sort by last modified, I suspect you will find a pair (time stamp in the file names are the same) of Sophos Anti-Virus install log files. It will be attempting to install every 1hr.

Can you provide those logs?
