Windows Server 2003 SP2

Hello ,

Once i deploy from the sophos console to one of our windows 2003 servers . I get Most of my ports blocked including LDAP,DNS and a couple other ports that need to be opened. This is only happening in version 9.5 AV . Once i remove 9.5 from the server it is fine. Any reason why it is doing this?

    Sounds odd.

    1. Can you replicate the issue on more than one server?
    2. If so can you install/ uninstall/ install and guarantee the problem exists only when SAV is installed?
    3. If so can you guarantee which ports are going to get blocked?
       netstat -an > C:\beforeSAV.txt
       netstat -an > C:\afterSAV.txt
    4. Does stopping the Sophos services resolve the problem?
    5. Does rebooting the server resolve the problem?

    If the issue continues I would forward the answers to the above questions to Technical Support for further investigation.
