where are LDAP query filters stored?

I need to restore data from a system that had the AD sync utility on it. All I need are the complicated LDAP query filters that I set up about a year ago. Are these stored anywhere on the file system or will I need to get a registry hive to dig through? I'd prefer to not have to restore the entire VM if I can avoid it.

    The AD sync utility will make an LDAP query to your AD server. AD server will have the logs on event viewer and if you have lost the backup of the AD server, then it is not possible to recover the logs of LDAP query.

      It may be a long shot if your VM is broken, but the log file here should have what you need:

       

      \\SERVERNAME\c$\ProgramData\Sophos\Sophos Cloud AD Sync\Logs
