Chatgpt img does not wk

We are currently facing an issue where we are unable to upload files or images to the ChatGPT portal while the Sophos Endpoint Agent is enabled.

However, once the Sophos agent is disabled, file and image uploads function correctly. This suggests that the Sophos agent may be interfering with the upload process specifically for the ChatGPT portal.

  • Hello,

We appreciate your reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.

I recommend running basic troubleshooting steps on the affected device to help narrow down the issue. This will give us a clearer idea of which specific component might be causing the problem.

Please refer to this article for more information: Sophos Central Endpoint: Basic troubleshooting.

    • Hi  ,

      Good day.

Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.

Sophos Support has been aware of an issue where uploading files to chatgpt.com gets blocked or partially fails with the SSL/TLS decryption of HTTPS websites feature turned on in the Threat Protection Policy. This is not an issue with the Sophos Endpoint Agent but how chatgpt.com handles the data interaction.

I would suggest checking if SSL/TLS decryption of HTTPS websites is turned on in the threat protection policy, and if yes, then add an SSL/TLS decryption exclusion as a workaround to mitigate the issue. Below are the steps to add the exclusion:

Go to My Products > General Settings > General > SSL/TLS decryption of HTTPS websites > add exclusion > You can exclude using the domain name or IP address (e.g. google.com, 192.168.0.1).

Refer this document for more information on SSL/TLS decryption of HTTPS websites and exclusion.
