Setting Virtual Webserver to specific IP

I have an interface DMZ that is configured as a /28 subnet so it has 14 usable IP addresses. This was provided to us by our ISP.

When I go to setup a virtual webserver, I can pick the DMZ interface but that virtual webserver only listens to the first IP address in the /28 network.

How do I specify which IP address the virtual webserver will listen on? My only option seems to be able to pick the interface.

  • The Interface definition will only use the first address.  Did you setup the other thirteen addresses at Interfaces & Routing > Interfaces > Additional Addresses for use?

  • Hi, Bryan, and welcome to the User BB!

I'm confused about what you're trying to do.  If you are planning on using Webserver Protection with servers in your DMZ, you probably want to make your DMZ a /24 in the 172.16.0.0/12 range and put all of your /28 public IPs on the External interface as Additional Addresses.

    Cheers - Bob
