Help with configuring Sophos UTM in AWS

Greetings,
We are utilizing a Sophos UTM in AWS. We are using it for our workspaces implementation to filter all web traffic, provide intrusion detection, Advanced Threat Protection, and firewall functionality. So far, it works great. My problem is leveraging the Webserver protection. Is there a doc that discusses best practice scenarios for using this in AWS? Lets say I want to protect a webserver that I have in a DMZ subnet in AWS. Would I need to add an additonal NIC with another elastic IP or can I use the current EIP? The documentation is good but I just need some more detail. If anyone has any info that might help, I would be most appreciative.

  • Hi, Joel, and welcome to the User BB!

You can get started with your existing EIP.  The white paper you're looking for has yet to be written.

    Cheers - Bob
