Alright, I have a QoS rule setup for Hulu and Netflix, using the application selector. This is carved out 3.5 Mbps.
When someone is streaming, my online gaming latency jumps to the 800-1000 ms range.
I created a rule for the game, correct ports, and put it in position 1, giving it 1.5 Mbps. This seemed to help slightly, but only when Hulu or Netflix is streaming. When it goes to a commercial, or switches shows, it kills the latency again.
The game I am playing is Star Wars The Old Replublic. I located the ports via the tech docs.
Is there a way to specify that the SW:TOR traffic has the highest priority / needs the lowest latency? While playing, nothing else going on network wise, I see 300k - 400k WAN traffic. 1.5 Mbps should be more then enough.
Is there a packet queue that I can specify a 3 to 1 or something like that? Because it doesn't need a lot of overall bandwidth, just low latency, how do I set that up?
