Rename Host Name Question

Would it mess up the device to rename it I mean the host name that is? Or would it cause problems later down the road to rename it from the default host name given to it during the install. I need to rename mine and was curious before I went ahead and done it.

    not at all, only some cosmetics with certificates, you have to regenerate them

      When you do not use proxy with ssl-scanning and/or vpn-connections there is no really problem changing the hostname.

      Otherwise you will have to reconfigure every service which is useing certificates.

        This is new enough that you could print out your configuration and start over, and that's what I would recommend.  As you can see from the comments above, there are some details that can cause you mysterious problems down the road.
