I have an ASL 6.0.4 that has been upgraded from 4 to 5 to 6. This system connects to another ASL system that has also seen the same upgrade and is working fine.
It seems that after the 6 upgrade I started having some problems. The system will apear to be non-operating because the users can't get to the Internet or access anything over the VPN. I try and access the admin screen and I get asked to verify the key but never get the login. I can SSH into the machine but when I try to su it asks for the password and hangs, I ctrl-c and continue the SSH session but never su.
I have noticed two defunct processes in the ps listing, aua.bin and license_info.pl.
I have reloaded the system with the 6.0.1, restored the 5.024 backup and installed all the up2dates twice now. Thinking I might have a hacker I also changed the passwords.
