Web Admin TCP Port

It appears that I have had an outgoing admin change the defaul TCP port(433) on the web admin access. Is there any way to get web admin access back without having to reinstal??

if i understand you right - you have forgotton your webmin-port??
if so - loginto the box and do a netstat -an to see wich ports are waiting for connections - and maybe you'll get a flashback ;-)

  Thanks for the info. - The real issue is when I pull up a web browser and type in the the WebAdmin address - I get nothing due to the change in the WebAdmin port - which by default listens on port 433 . In my case it is now looking for WebAdmin access on port 1433. As such I never get to a login page.

    I would have used port 1444. Port 1433 used for MS SQL server.

SSH to the box and run netstat, or find the file that lists the SSL port.

Or portscan the box.

  /etc/wfe/conf/settings

    you also could have seen the defined port in the file /etc/wfe/conf/settings , parameter webadmin_port [;)]
