[Solved] APs Offline after update to 1.8.x

In some cases APs show offline after an update or reboot with firmware 1.8.x. Typically, the AP no longer broadcasts the SSIDs, and broadcasts an sos-SSID instead. Also the LED flashes green. The remedy is to delete the AP in the cloud (probably with a force delete) and then reclaim it.

Our engineering is working at a fix and will keep you updated in this forum. Our sincere apologies for this issue, besides fixing it we are further improving our release process to ensure this cannot happen again.

To stop further customers running into this issue by upgrading we have published 1.8.0-3 again. If you are already on 1.8.1 there is no need to downgrade, just stay there until the next version comes which will include a fix for the issue.
