Firewall

Are there any plans in integrating a Layer3/Layer 7 Firewall like Cisco Meraki does? This would be a great thing for smaller customers who don't want to implement VLANs in their network. In this case you could create a guest SSID and apply a "deny - any - local LAN" rule on it

  • Hi Andreas,

Would customer consider something like this?

    1. Employee SSID - Company issued

    2. BYOD SSID - Employee bringing their own devices.

    3. Guest SSID

If we give an option to configure "Allow/Deny/Throttle". If you select one of this option then you want to block certain things on that network but in Wireless it is important to have QoS figured out. Do you agree?

Example - QoS: Go-to-meeting higher priority, Youtube lower priority and P-2-P file sharing BLOCKED.
