Sites Tab Floor Plan

Currently when you click on the Sites tab, it doesn't show the floor plans unless you click on the wrench icon for the site.  When clicking on the Sites tab it should just show the floorplans without having to click on anything.

Thanks

  • Hi,

I was thinking I have to click on the wrench too (and click cancel to close the popup) but in fact you just need to click on the name of the site.

IMO, the floor plan showed by default is good but only in the case you have only one site.

  • Ahhh, thanks for the tip.  Yeah that makes sense now and works great actually.  I think your right Ekky, if it was only 1 site that'd be cool if it showed the floor plan by default, but in a multi-site environment that wouldn't make a lot of sense and should have to click on the site.  Overall now that I know you don't have to click the wrench I think it works great.

  • Hi,

we changed the behaviour so that the uppermost site is selected initially. The display below will always have the access point list for that site selected - as we have multiple floors possible, we preferred this over selecting one floor. This change is already made and will be live in one of the upcoming releases.

Would this approach work for you? Can you get in contact with your SE so that I can show you some screenshots on the upcoming implementation? Beyond that, if we can improve this even more to match your needs I'm very much looking forward to your feedback.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk Bolte
