HA failover | Connection Timer

Question

Hello together, 
 after a HA failover, the connections are taken over to the other node, but the Connection Timer will set to a small value like 300 seconds? This means that we disconnect connections that are actually still active if they do not communicate during this short period of time after the failover. 
 Is there a solution to increase this value and why isn't the connection expiration time simply taken over by the other node?

That is correct, to keep the Conntrack "fast enough", we decided to not copy paste all "dead connections". Most of the connections, which are IDLE (like no packets for 5 minutes) are considered nearly all times as dead - Especially in a time of fast keep alive. 
 To figure out, if the sessions are needed after takeover and not one of this IDLE Connections, we lower the keep alive down to a lower amount (hoping there will be an packet within the 5 minutes after takeover). 
 Do you have an application with an issue here?
