BBC detects traffic from Sophos firewall from a different geolocation

Hello All,

we have been experiencing an issue for traffic accessing bbc.co.uk via Sophos firewall. Traffic Source IP is registered with United Kingdom as country - however BBC redirects user traffic to bbc.com - as it considers it from a different country.

Have been working with our ISP and they have confirmed Public IP is registered with UK. Not sure if it is caused due to any other factors?

Hello there, Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community. If you do a nslookup resolution to what country the bbc.co.uk resolves to, and what about bbc.com? What IP are they resolving to? For me…
