How to change device itself internet access IP to an alias IP?

Hello all,

This is my WAN link configuration:

The main interface has no IP address. but I created a VLAN on WAN interface and also add 2 alias valid IP address. I created 2 NAT policies for rules. all rules working fine and users have access to the Internet.

My problem is the device itself does not have internet. because it tries to access the Internet on 10.88.69.114. How I can change default access to the Internet for the device itself?

  • Hi,

Port 2 should be a WAN and then change then IP address for the gateway port2.1386 configuration.

    • Thank you. the gateway for port2.1386 is an invalid IP address for routing to ISP modem. My valid IP address is alias without a gateway.  On alias IP address we can not input gateway. The gateway is an invalid IP address (10.88.69.x) on port port2.1386

      • That  1- address should be on the physical port 2 which I hope you changed to WAN.

        • I can't set any IP address on physical port 2. Because I have vlan in my network and physical ports on XG can not join to a vlan directly. I need to add vlan with alias IP.
