I have a group of devices for which I'd like to block access to/from WAN. Is there a guide or FAQ for this? Searching around, I couldn't find anything.

What do you mean? Blocking from WAN?
Bascially WAN is something behind a NAT(MASQ). So you have to create a DNAT to enable access to Resources behind XG.
In DNAT Rules (Business Application Rule) you can specify "Block Networks".
