So I have a switch that has not connected to central in about 6 days, it can be locally managed, SSH works, etc. -- and I've seen this at least a dozen times. In the past I've just rebooted the switch, but I am now interested to hear if there is a way to restart the agent service (I'm assuming this is what has failed) without doing an entire switch restart. FWIW all the other switches communicate just fine with Central at this site, firewall is not blocking comms. I've seen this before at multiple customers, it is kind of annoying, hope the newer firmware out there will take care of this. I'm hoping there is a command I can enter from the CLI to do this... I did not find it in the reference guide but I might have missed it.
