Set "get notifications in Lock-Screen" IOS

Is it possible to set the setting to get messages when the IPhone is locked?

    Hello Harald,

    I'm using the Sophos MDM pretty much during daily work. First of all can you be a little bit more specific? Should the Admin get a message when the iPhone is locked? For what kind of purpose do you want to get this information?

    As far as I know, and I work with iPads, there is no setting to inform the admins about locked iPhones/iPads. The only place where you  can see if the Device is currently locked is in the Task-Tab, if the device got some task to do (e.g install apps) there you can see the status like "device is currently locked". 

    Path: Device/*your Device*/Tasks *(last tab on the right)* (but only if there are Tasks)

    Hello Matthias,

    i mean the notification on the iphone when you get a new message (Mail, SMS,...) that will also be displayed when the lock-screen is on.

    This is on the iphone under settings - messages - Mail - allow messages - and there you have a few setting and one of that is in lock-screen.

    Hope thats clear enaugh explained.

    Allright, therefore I think there is no option in Sophos MDM yet.. It is a user-specific option. At least I see no option to control these settings via MDM.

    Ok, i thought so.

    Do you know if it is possible in Mobile Controle 6 to snchronice only the changes in a Profile --> if i change 1 setting in a set of settings of a profile, to only transfer that one setting?

    I have one profile in which also exchange is configured and when i change a setting in example: WLAN or VPN it transfers the whole profile and so the exchange profile is made new and all mails will be transfered again.

    Hi,


    For example, in one Profile you can include more than one option/property (Mail,VPN etc). So if you change your Profile_1 which has only mail and you add VPN to this Profile, than Sophos will update the Profile not the Option/Property of this Profile. Therfore it's wise to define the requirements before you create a profile to got one complete profile-package. I advice you to create one complete package for the future (for your department or whatever) and additionally one single VPN-profile for your purpose.
