3.6.1 to 4.0.0.4 upgrade fails

I've already submited a ticket but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. We're trying to upgrade to v4 and we get a "error!database update error! please contact support" message.

We've updated java, checked the env vars and all seems to be ok

    I found out the problem for this, during the upgrade of the table, SQL queries the registry of the local machine, I think it is do with the the system checking whether if it the cloud product or self hosted, and the SQL service needs to be an admin account, where as my SQL account was just a local system account.

    If you still have issue, create a new user security on SQL with db_reader and db_writer rights, and then login as that user to the server and try the install again, this fixed it for me.
