3.6.1 to 4.0.0.4 upgrade fails

I've already submited a ticket but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. We're trying to upgrade to v4 and we get a "error!database update error! please contact support" message.

We've updated java, checked the env vars and all seems to be ok

sorry for the late reply.
Normally, the update should not fail. There seems to be a specific issue for your server.
I hope it was resolved in the meantime?
