Intercept X for Mobile Apple iPhone

Hello

I have a question about Intercept X for Mobile or Mobile Threat Defense. When using Apple iPhone, is the web and URL filter and the control of unsafe downloads and links in real time also available in the free version of Intercept X for Mobile? Because the data sheet (assets.sophos.com/.../sophos-intercept-x-for-mobile-dsde.pdf) says something about “iOS-enabled devices required”.

What does this mean?

    To use web filtering feature the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

    • iOS 14 or later is used.
    • The iOS device is supervised.
    • A Sophos Mobile Security or Sophos Mobile Advance license is available.
    • The device is managed by Sophos Mobile.
    • For the web filtering feature, it is necessary to turn on push notifications for the Sophos Mobile Security App.

    So it is not available for free version. It is present only when the appropriate sophos mobile license is present and also the device is supervised. You could refer this page for more information on the same.

    For enabling the device supervision you could refer here.
