iOS 18 Support
We’re pleased to confirm Sophos Mobile support for iOS 18. Please ensure devices have upgraded to the latest version of the Sophos Mobile apps to ensure compatibility. The current version of Sophos Mobile Control is 9.7.3 and Intercept X for Mobile is 9.7.11.
New Apple User Enrolment workflow
The method for enrolling devices in Apple User Enrolment has changed in iOS 18. Please see the updated section of the Sophos Mobile Admin Guide for details on the new workflow.
New restrictions for Apple Intelligence and Alternative App Stores
Customers can decide if they want to use the upcoming Apple Intelligence features. The iOS Restrictions policy includes new option to allow or forbid specific settings. Also, customers from the EU can restrict the use of Alternative App Stores. Details on the new settings can can be found in the Release Notes.
Android 15 support
Google is expected to release Android 15 in October, and Sophos Mobile is on track to have Day 1 support.
