I think this is probably a bit unlikely, but I'm asking the question just in case. I'd like to add an ECR registry for image scanning, but note that in order to do this I need to provide an Access Key ID and Secret Access Key from an IAM user. I don't really want to maintain IAM users for this purpose - security wise it's not great, and would prefer to use roles. Is there any chance that anyone has thought a way around this (unlikely I know), or do we know of any future feature to change this?
