Hello there,
I am trying to block TLDs in Sophos Central using Website Management—Add Website Customisation, and instead of putting many domains with a malicious top domain, I would like to be able to block this particular domain.
What should I put in the Add Website Customisation window?
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards,
Damian
Hi Damian Kowalik ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos Community forum.
You can also use wildcards to block whole top level domains (TLDs). You may refer to the following document for more details and examples.
Hi Gladys,
Thank you for your response, but this has nothing to do with email domains.
I just want to block users from visiting a particular TLD.
I thought this regex would work : https://*.shop but did not.
Kind regards,
Damian
Hi Damian Kowalik ,
Apologies for the confusion. You can directly add the TLDs to the Website Management tag and set it to block. For example, if you want to block the top-level domain .shop, you can just enter .shop to the Website Management tag and then block it on your Web Control policy. That will block all .shop sites.
I will try that.
Thank you very much, Gladys.
Regards,
Damian
