SEC 5.5.0 air gap configuration: SUM failed on air gapped Server (2012 r3, 64 bit

PC1= Non Air Gapped (internet Connected) PC running windows 7 64=bit and SEC 5.5.50 --> SUM Successfully Updated from internet ,
PC1 = Air Gapped Windows 2012 r2 server.

1. Intalled the PC1 and PC1 by following installation manaul on both system.
2. PC 1 is updated from internet (Warehouse and CID folder are created)
3- On PC2 SUM is configured local and shared it.Ddirectory is configured"\\server\SophosupdateManager" in update manager configuration. I didnot mentioned the credential as it is on local server.

Problem: Sophos update failed every time, but it create "Wherehouse" only not the CID.

I tried serveral solution on from Sophos community, but non is working in my case. Have anyone had tried on the latest release 5.5.0 ? Please help.

Hello Muhammad Rashid Shaikh,

a little bit confusing as you first talk about two PC1s. I'll assume PC1 has an Internet connection, the air-gapped (Server 2012) is called PC2.
The important and missing part is - how do the updates get from PC1 to PC2, what is the Source for PC2's SUM?

Hi Dear Chris,

Of course it is local share directory on PC2 that holds the warehouse folder copies on USB from PC1. Share folder is published as "SophosUpdateManager" and SUM is defined on PC2 "\\servername\SophosUpdateManager\

Hello Rashid,

it should be SUMTrace2017... but likely it doesn't tell more than 28/07/2017 21:06:23 Error Synchronize operation failed. Details: Failed to download valid remote customer file content.
Is the copy of the \Warehouse\ correct, complete and consistent (i.e. taken when SUM on the source server was not updating)? Also check the file sumcf.dat.
