Active Directory Synchronization "AD Sync" Configure problem. Unable to access DA

Hello

I am trying to configure Sophos Active Directory Synchronization "AD Sync" and when adding Active Directory settings get the following error:

"Can not access Active Directory ...... LDAP server is not available"

But the AD 636 port is open, I am conecting as Domain Administrator, from the localhost AD server (there is no firewall between). I also try from other computers.

My AD is working OK

I solved it using not secure 386 port

While using the non-TLS secured connection on TCP-389 (LDAP) may enable the product to sync with AD I do not consider this a solution. At the very least a security product passing any confidential information should be properly encrypted.
