Hello, Im just about to install sophos 4.5 console / database.
Pretty much every other product ive used that requires a database will simple ask for an SQL server and permissions during the install and go off and create the database.
After looking though the sophos docs it seems I have to run the install on the SQL server to install the database.
Ive managed to get on our SQL server and tried the install, but it still asks for all the pre reqs etc and will require a reboot!!.
Unfortunately this server is one of our corporate SQL servers which cannot be rebooted without oodles of change control forms and around 2 weeks notice!!!!.
Is there any way to get this database on the server without rebooting etc as ive never had to do this with any other product before!!
