diff between removable storage and secure removable storage

Question

in blocking or allowing access to USB devices, what is the differences between the categories "Removable Storage" and "Secure Removable Storage"?

let's say i only want those USB keys/drives/thumbdrives to be accessible (read/write) which category should be chosen?

Hello Rino, secure devices are those with internal encryption (i.e. their contents can't be accessed by someone who happens to "find" the device). See also Secure removable storage devices supported by Sophos Device Control . Christian :52166
